85 delegates attended from various regions in South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zambia, Uganda, Zimbabwe. Kenya and the UK.

Overall, feedback was very positive – delegates thought talks were interesting and informative, and the group sessions were valuable as they allowed everyone to share their experiences:

Delegates were asked to complete a course evaluation form to provide organisers with feedback. They rated presentations an average of 9.2, content covered 9.2 and usefulness 9.2 all out of a possible 10. The overall average of all scores was 9.2.

They were very complimentary of the content and organization of the course.

89 delegates attended in total. 76 delegates were from 24 states across Mexico, while 13 participants were international.

There was a mixture of paediatricians, other doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, pharmacists and epidemiologists. Delegates were asked to complete a course evaluation form. The overall rates were 9.7/10 for presentations, 9.7/10 for content covered and 9.4/10 for usefulness for their practice. Presentations were rated very highly. The delegates commented that the talks were clear, interesting, useful and enjoyable. The information was accessible, topics were relevant, and the overall quality was excellent.

They were mostly complimentary of the hotel and location of the course in Cuernavaca.

The delegates also provided useful feedback that has been taken into account for planning future training courses.

53 delegates attended in total, coming from Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and Latvia.

Overall, feedback from the participants was very positive. In particular, they praised the speakers’ high level of professionalism and the in-depth, interdisciplinary knowledge shared during the lectures and case discussions. They also appreciated the positive and welcoming atmosphere of the course.

The delegates commented that the talks were clear, interesting and relevant. They enjoyed the group discussions for their interactive nature and for the useful knowledge gained on day-to-day issues in HIV care. They were also complimentary of the venue and overall course organisation.

82 delegates attended in total, coming from Tajikistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

The feedback from the participants was very positive. Delegates were asked to complete a course evaluation form. The scores were 9.5/10 for presentations, 9.4/10 for content covered and 9.4/10 for usefulness for their practice. The overall average rating for presentations was 9.5/10.

The delegates thought the presentations delivered were interesting, informative, up-to-date, and that the course was timely for the country and region. The interactive nature of the working groups and quizzes were praised for keeping the delegates focussed and engaged. They particularly enjoyed the group discussions, as they learned practical solutions to everyday clinical problems, and they were able share relevant experiences with people from different parts the world. The inclusion of adolescent groups in the programme was especially appreciated.

They were also complimentary of the venue in Dushanbe and the overall course organisation.

80 delegates from the Russian Federation attended in total.

Participants were asked to complete a course evaluation form, and the feedback provided was extremely positive. The scores were 9.8/10 for presentations, 9.8/10 for content covered and 9.8/10 for usefulness for their practice. The overall average rating for presentations was 9.8/10.

The delegates thought the lecturers gave interesting, informative, up-to-date talks, and that more training courses of this kind are needed for the country. They praised the working groups and quizzes for being interactive and keeping the delegates focussed. They were particularly appreciative of the fact that they were able to meet and interact with an international faculty team, as they were able share their experiences with people working in different settings around the globe.

They were also highly complimentary of the venue in Irkutsk and the overall course coordination.

101 delegates attended in total: 95 from Mozambique, 2 from Namibia, 2 from Zambia, 2 from Uganda. There were a mixture of paediatricians, physicians, nurses, medical officers and lab technicians.

Overall, feedback was extremely positive:

“It was really amazing being here and meeting all the colleagues. Training and studying about HIV in paediatrics is a brilliant idea, because in most cases paediatric HIV conditions are not really discussed – it’s mostly adults that are considered.”

Presentations were rated very highly. The group sessions were praised in particular as they allowed everyone to share their experiences with participants from different regions/countries. Discussing real life cases that were relevant to their daily practice, and getting immediate expert feedback, was immensely rewarding for the delegates. The quizzes and working groups were praised for being interactive and fun. They variety they added was welcomed as this helped keep the delegates fully engaged.

They were highly complimentary of the hotel and location of the course in Maputo.

The delegates also provided useful feedback that has been taken into account for planning future training courses.
