Global Research in Paediatrics – Network of Excellence
GRiP was a European Commission FP7 programme funded project that aimed to develop a joint paediatric clinical pharmacology-training program in collaboration with International stakeholders in order to create a network of well-trained researchers, investigators and experts.
As partner in this project, Penta supported the Azienda Ospedaliera di Padova in project management and the University Tor Vergata in developing and implementing an MSc in Paediatric Medicines Development and Evaluation.
European Medical Information Framework – One platform for data discovery, assessment and (re-)use
EMIF is an Innovative Medicines Initiative Joint Undertaking (IMI-JU), cofunded by the European Commission FP7 programme and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) that aims to develop common technical and governance solutions and improve access and use of health data across Europe.
As partner in this project, Penta supports the creation of governance and operating structures within the consortium, assessment of legal and ethical issues, development and implementation of a common data extraction framework, ICT infrastructure and benchmarking, concept and conduct of paediatric use cases to test the viability of the data sharing platform.
