This position for a Social media manger is open to professionals and communication agencies

Reports to: Senior Communication manager

Job responsibilities

As a social media manager/social media management service, you’ll manage Penta’s online presence, by contributing to implement a social media strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data and managing projects and campaigns.

Job duties

  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vimeo, adapting content to suit different channels
  • Develop, launch and manage creative and engaging social media campaigns that promote our organization, activities and brand
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Create a monthly/weekly content calendar and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Iconosquare
  • Create engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms (photographs, videos, podcasts), do graphic design and video editing
  • Drive referral traffic and get new visitors on Penta websites
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
  • Undertake audience research and audience building
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Define most important social media KPI
  • Monitor, track and analyse performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Iconosquare, LinkedIn and Facebook insights
  • Deliver quarterly reports on social media performance
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
  • Analyse competitor activity
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
  • Work with Penta Communication team to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Regularly liaise with colleagues and project partners via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Adhere to rules and regulations (i.e Privacy, Terms of services)
  • Present to Senior Management

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in written English and Italian
  • A minimum of 3 years in the social media industry (agency or brand)
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and complete tasks to deadlines
  • Team-oriented
  • Strong will to collaborate and learn
  • Highly engaging, versatile, and adaptable
  • Familiarity with global privacy law and notably GDPR
  • Experience in science communication is desirable but not required

Salary/fee

We request a quote that does not exceed € 15,000 including VAT for one year of service. The contract will last for 3 years.

We will evaluate the offer based on the criterion of the most advantageous offer, as follows:

– 50% economic offer

– 50% technical offer (please attach any references)

Location
