ORCHESTRA opens doors to COVID-19 related data to selected scientists
Verona 17/07/2023 – ORCHESTRA-Cohort is a multinational cohort research project on COVID-19 and its long-term sequelae. The collaborative data collection of SARS-CoV-2 infections including long-term follow-ups aims at creating a precise clinical picture of the disease to contribute to better patient care. External scientists are now welcome to apply to participate in a science challenge carried out with patient data of the EU funded project.

Today we launch VERDI, a project that prioritizes women and children in the research on new coronavirus variants
The University of Padua and Penta Foundation are leaders of VERDI, a new European research consortium on coronavirus in children and pregnant women. Carlo Giaquinto, Professor at University of Padova and President of Penta, together with Professor Ali Judd at University College London, will be the scientific coordinators of VERDI.

Today marks the official launch of ORCHESTRA, a three-year international research project aimed at tackling the coronavirus pandemic.
The project is led by Prof. Evelina Tacconelli of the University of Verona and it involves 26 partners (which extends to 37 partners when considering the wider network) from 15 countries (Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Congo, France, Gabon, Germany, India, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Venezuela).
