Penta’s diverse range of activities is only made possible by way of the strategic management of clinical trials through Penta’s long-standing collaboration with 3 leading CTU centres – MRC (UK), INSERM (France) and PHPT (Thailand).
In the frame of its wider activities, Penta has entered into a number of framework collaboration agreements. In 2010 the Foundation signed an agreement with the Padua Hospital (Azienda Ospedaliera di Padova) for the management of common research projects. Other key project collaborators with Penta are Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù (OPBG) and the Makerere University – John Hopkins University Research Collaboration (MUJHU). More recently, Penta has also teamed up with the leading paediatric research institutions Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership (GARDP), the Italian NGO Doctors with Africa CUAMM, and the Collaborative Center of Clinical Epidemiology and Outcomes Research (CLEO).
