[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text el_class=”bigP”]Penta’s diverse range of activities is only made possible by way of the strategic management of clinical trials through our long-standing partnership with 3 leading Clinical Trials Units (CTU) – MRC CTU at UCL (UK), INSERM (France) and PHPT (Thailand).
In the frame of its wider activities, Penta has entered into a number of framework collaboration agreements. In 2010 the Foundation signed an agreement with the Padua Hospital (Azienda Ospedaliera di Padova) for the management of common research projects. Other key project collaborators with Penta are Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù (OPBG), the Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) and the Makerere University – John Hopkins University Research Collaboration (MUJHU). More recently, Penta has also teamed up with the leading paediatric research institutions Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership (GARDP) and the Italian NGO Doctors with Africa CUAMM.
Another key partner is the WHO through GAP-f, the Global Accelerator of Paediatric Formulation, an innovative collaborative model that will accelerate the availability of optimized treatment options for infectious diseases, such as HIV, tuberculosis and viral hepatitis, affecting children in low – and middle– income countries.
