ESPNIC webinar on PICU nursing care

The aim of this ESPNIC webinar is to address key concerns of nurses working on Pediatric intensive Care Units (PICU) in managing COVID-19 ventilated patients infected by SARS-CoV-2 and to provide them with the latest evidence on the nursing care of COVID-19 ventilated patients.

The webinar included presentations by Dr. Lyvonne Tume, RN PhD Associate Professor in Child Health (PICU Nursing) University of Salford, Manchester UK and Nurse Scientist, PICU Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool and Dr. Agnes van den Hoogen, RN PhD Postdoctoral researcher and academic lecturer in Clinical Health Science, NICU Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital, Utrecht, The Netherlands, on behalf of the ESPNIC Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing and Nurse Science sections. The webinar was moderated by Dr. Orsola Gawronski, PhD, ESPNIC Nursing President.
