We are pleased to invite you to GAP-f’s next webinar, Facilitating clinical evaluation of novel products for children, which will take place on 14 June at 15:00 CEST / 09:00 EST / 18:30 IST. This webinar, hosted by GAP-f’s Clinical Research Working Group, will explore adaptive trials and platforms to accelerate investigation on novel therapeutics and address questions on the challenges and opportunities to implement them effectively. It will also discuss how clinical trials can be strengthened to provide high-quality evidence on health interventions, and how the clinical trial ecosystem could be improved to better tackle the needs of infants and children.
Among the speakers, Julia Bielicki, Lead of Penta’s Severe Bacterial Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Working Group, will present Penta’s new project SNIP-Africa, which aims to establish a clinical research network and architecture to implement adaptive platform trials for severe neonatal infections and sepsis in sub-Saharan Africa. Marc Lallemant, Penta Network member and representative in the GAP-f Clinical Research Working Group, will provide insights to the panel discussion “What needs to be done to improve the clinical trial ecosystem to foster research on novel therapeutics for children“.
