Penta is the lead of the Clinical Research Working Group for the newly launched Global Accelerator for Paediatric Formulations (GAP-f), a network led by the World Health Organisation.
GAP-f is a global collaboration that aims to achieve universal health coverage by providing better medicines to children in need. As a global platform, GAP-f wants to enhance coordination between partners in order to accelerate the prioritisation, investigations, development, introduction and safe roll out and use of high-quality medicines in optimal formulations for children in need.
GAP-f formalises collaboration across sectors to ensure accelerated development and uptake of the most needed drugs and formulations for children. Thanks to our expertise and international collaborations established over the years, Penta is eager to play its part as a clinical research network coordinator, to ensure high-quality clinical paediatric data is generated in the fastest and most efficient way.
We will share our strengths and experiences with the members of the Clinical Research Working Group and together, we will conduct new studies related to the GAP-f portfolio and provide technical support for studies performed by the pharmaceutical industry.
