Call for proposals: Shape the next Penta Aperitivo webinars!

17 Apr, 2025

Are you passionate about advancing understanding and care in infectious diseases from pregnancy through adolescence? Do you have a compelling topic that could spark important discussions and expand our knowledge? Here’s your opportunity to take the stage, virtually.

We invite you to submit a proposal for upcoming Aperitivo webinars. These informal, engaging sessions bring together global experts, early-career researchers and healthcare professionals worldwide to explore key issues in paediatric infectious diseases. From new research findings to innovative practices and multidisciplinary perspectives, our webinars aim to inspire fresh thinking and foster scientific collaboration across borders.

Do you want to know more about the Aperitivo webinars? Have a look to our webpage and rewatch previous webinars here.

Submit your proposal to network@pentafoundation.org

Please send:

  • A proposed topic relevant to Penta’s priority research areas;
  • A short description outlining the key points and focus of the session (no abstract needed);
  • Two suggested speakers, possibly one from within and one from outside Penta, from different institutions and countries.
  • Your preferred months (at least two options) for hosting the webinar. Note that webinars are typically held monthly, except in January, August, and December.

No deadlines: we are always looking for exciting, relevant topics and diverse voices – we always welcome your proposals!

We strongly encourage proposals that include one speaker from within Penta and one from outside Penta. We are eager to hear new voices, explore innovative approaches, and gain insights from diverse regions and healthcare settings.

All proposals will be reviewed by the Penta Network Engagement Committee. If your proposal is selected, we will work with you to develop it into an engaging webinar for our global community.

This is a fantastic chance to showcase innovative ideas and research, engage in meaningful discussions with experts worldwide, and foster new collaborations.

We look forward to your ideas!
