Tags: | December 4th, 2018

On October, 17th 2018 Fondazione PENTA Onlus and Joint Clinical Research Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The agreement was signed at JCRC’s headquarters in Kampala, Uganda, by Professor Carlo Giaquinto, President of PENTA and by Doctor Cissy Kityo, Executive Director of JCRC, expressing the hope and will to start a new, even more successful chapter in the continued collaboration between the two institutions.

PENTA and JCRC, indeed, have in common not only a long experience in paediatric HIV research, but also a recent development towards new research areas and interests.

Recognizing the similarities in their expertise and goals, the decision to sign an MoU is based on their longstanding collaboration and formally ratifies their intention of strengthening their cooperation and of joining their efforts in new research fields such as other communicable and non-communicable diseases and antimicrobial resistance.
