The EPIICAL Consortium is pleased to announce that enrollment in the EARTH study is moving fast. Two children have been recruited in Johannesburg by the PHRU Team led by Avy Violari, and four children in Manhiça Mozambique by the CISM Team led by Tacilta Nhampossa.
The main goal of EARTH is to perform an immunological and virological characterization in a large cohort of early treated HIV infected infants in order to develop a clinical platform for future PoC studies. For more information about EPIICAL, visit the project website.
