Harnessing Real-World Data: the Penta Data Management team’s 2023 achievements

2023 marked a significant year for the Data Management and Infrastructure (DM&I) team. We focused our efforts on two key areas: harnessing the potential of Real-World Data (RWD) and streamlining the data lifecycle within observational studies. These initiatives represent a critical step forward in our mission to integrate cutting-edge methodologies and technologies into healthcare research.

Building upon the successful cloud migration and information security advancements implemented in 2020, our 2023 efforts were part of a broader strategy for digital transformation across Penta. This ongoing initiative, which significantly improved efficiency and innovation throughout 2021 and 2022, reached a new level of maturity by 2023. By leveraging the latest cloud technologies, the DM&I team is now adeptly managing health research data with the utmost efficiency, security, and regulatory compliance.

Our focus on RWD and optimising the data lifecycle in observational studies has allowed us to push the boundaries of traditional data management practices. This not only enhances the quality and usefulness of the data we collect but also ensures our research infrastructure and methodologies remain at the forefront of technological advancements.

Working in close collaboration with the vast network of experts within the Penta ID Network, the team has continued to deliver top-tier, innovative data services, enhancing the scope and impact of healthcare research. This collaborative approach allows us to leverage the expertise of a diverse range of specialists, ultimately leading to more comprehensive and impactful research findings.
