International Congress on Infectious Diseases: From Pregnancy to the Newborn Period

The International Congress on Infectious Diseases: From Pregnancy to the Newborn Period (Infectious Diseases 2026) will be held in Rome, Italy from 23-24 November 2026.

The meeting will explore the epidemiology and burden of infectious diseases affecting pregnant individuals and newborns, with a particular focus on the pathogenesis of fetal and neonatal injury. Participants will also address key aspects of prenatal and postnatal counseling, an essential component of comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.

The Congress is endorsed by ESCMID and will feature several speakers from the Society. The scientific programme will bring together experts, clinicians, and researchers to discuss the latest developments and challenges in congenital and perinatal infections, and will feature a dynamic combination of state-of-the-art lectures, expert-led clinical case discussions, and opportunities for participants to present and share their own research data.
